Glanbia revised its 2026 adjusted earnings per share growth forecast to 17-20% from the prior 7-11% range, citing strong demand in protein and nutrition markets. The update follows a robust first half, with group revenue up 7% to $2.1bn and operating profit surging 52.4% to $190.1m.

Performance Nutrition revenue grew 6.7% to $917.2m, driven by 16.9% like-for-like sales growth, while Health and Nutrition expectations were raised to 8-10% from 4-6%. Dairy nutrition EBITDA guidance was lifted to $170m-$180m from $160m-$170m. Optimum Nutrition, which accounts for 79% of Performance Nutrition sales, posted 25.2% like-for-like revenue growth.

The company attributed the upgrades to strong consumer demand and operational performance across all segments, with CEO Hugh McGuire highlighting category momentum as a key driver.
