Gladstone Investment (NASDAQ:GAIN) reported first-quarter fiscal 2027 results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, with adjusted net investment income covering its regular monthly shareholder distributions and a portfolio fair value of $1.3 billion.
Adjusted net investment income was $10.4 million, or $0.26 per share, up from $7.9 million, or $0.20 per share, in the preceding quarter
Net investment income totaled $15.9 million, or $0.40 per share, compared with a net investment loss of $10.6 million in the prior quarter. The company maintained its monthly distribution of $0.08 per share, or $0.96 annually. Chief Executive Officer and President David Dullum said the company’s strategy of investing through a mix of debt and equity supports both recurring operating income and potential gains from portfolio-company exits.
Acquisitions and Pending Exit Activity Gladstone Investment said it entered into an agreement to acquire Extrude Hone, subject to regulatory approvals, and expects the transaction to close in the coming weeks. After quarter-end, the company completed the acquisition of DHE Computer Systems and made an add-on acquisition at existing portfolio company Global GRAB Technologies. The company expects to invest at least $116 million during the first six months of its fiscal year, compared with average annual investment activity of about $183 million over the past three fiscal years.
