UOB analysts see GBP/USD correcting toward 1.3315 after a sharp pullback from recent highs near 1.3401.
GBP/USD reversed course after testing resistance at 1.3410, dropping to a low of 1.3349 as momentum faded. The pair’s failure to sustain gains suggests an extended correction, with near-term support at 1.3330–1.3315, according to UOB’s latest analysis.
Earlier, GBP had risen more than expected, prompting expectations of a push toward 1.3445. However, the sharp pullback indicates weakening upside momentum, with a break below 1.3315 potentially signaling the end of the recent advance.
Resistance levels now stand at 1.3370 and 1.3390, while the focus remains on whether the pair can hold above key support zones.
