G-III raised its full-year net income forecast to $171m-$175m following stronger-than-expected Q1 results.
G-III reported Q1 2027 net sales of $536m, an 8% decline year-over-year, while gross margin surged to 64.9% from 42.2% in Q1 2026. The company attributed the margin expansion to tariff recoveries and improved full-price selling.
Net income rose sharply to $66.5m, or $1.50 per diluted share, compared to $7.8m, or $0.17 per share, in the prior-year period. Adjusted gross margin, excluding tariff impacts, reached 45.7%, up from 42.2%.
G-III raised its FY 2027 guidance, now projecting net sales of $2.71bn and net income between $171m and $175m. Q2 2027 net sales are expected to decline to $570m from $613.3m in Q2 2026, with net income forecast at $7m-$11m.
