The 400MWh Wildfire BESS project advances FPUSA’s 2GWh capacity deal with Eos Energy for US-made long-duration batteries.
Frontier Power USA (FPUSA) selected Bimergen Energy’s 100MW/400MWh Wildfire battery energy storage system in Caldwell County, Texas. The project will integrate into FPUSA’s platform under an existing strategic agreement and use Eos Energy’s Z3 long-duration batteries.
The selection follows FPUSA’s recent conversion of a 480MWh ERCOT-based portfolio and adds to a pipeline of 1.8GWh in closed and selected projects. This represents 90% of FPUSA’s 2GWh capacity reservation with Eos, targeting construction readiness by 2026-2027.
Economics for the Wildfire project are expected to align with prior Bimergen transactions. The deal supports FPUSA’s strategy to accelerate late-stage projects using US-made battery systems.
