Spencer Marks acquires 10 Checkers & Rally’s locations in Alabama and Mississippi, adding to his multi-brand restaurant portfolio.
A franchisee has acquired 10 Checkers & Rally’s restaurants in Mobile, Alabama, and Biloxi, Mississippi, marking a strategic expansion into the Gulf Coast. The deal includes six locations in Mobile and four in Biloxi, with plans for future development in the region.
Spencer Marks, an experienced multi-unit operator with nearly 20 years in restaurant ownership, will oversee the acquired stores. Since 2011, Marks has built a portfolio of multi-brand franchises, focusing on growth opportunities and operational improvements. His addition to the Checkers & Rally’s system is expected to strengthen performance in the Mobile and Biloxi markets.
The acquisition reflects Marks’ confidence in the brand’s operational model and expansion plans. Checkers & Rally’s, known for its double drive-thru format, continues to pursue growth through franchising and market revitalization efforts.
