The alliance targets indirect auto and equipment lenders in the U.S. and Canada to modernize origination processes.
Fidelity National Information Services (FIS) and Fuse have formed a strategic partnership to deliver an end-to-end origination platform for indirect car and equipment lenders. The collaboration integrates Fuse with FIS Asset Finance and FIS AutoSuite, creating a comprehensive lending ecosystem aimed at addressing gaps in current origination processes, which FIS claims lag modern industry expectations for speed and efficiency.
Truist recently lowered its price target on FIS from $50 to $45 while maintaining a Hold rating. The adjustment reflects revised financial models for payments-related businesses, citing concerns over a potential slowdown in organic revenue growth beginning in the second half of fiscal 2026. Truist also noted uncertainty around whether FIS’s current guidance accounts for tuck-in acquisitions.
The partnership aims to enhance FIS’s competitive positioning in the fintech space, though its immediate market impact remains unclear.
