Atlanta Fed survey shows business uncertainty over one-year-ahead revenue growth climbed to its highest level since April.

Business uncertainty about revenue growth for the next four quarters increased to 3.66% in June, up from 3.62% in May. The rise marks the second consecutive monthly increase in revenue growth uncertainty, according to survey data released Wednesday.

The Atlanta Fed’s Survey of Business Uncertainty tracks firms’ one-year-ahead expectations and uncertainties around employment and sales. While revenue growth uncertainty ticked higher, employment growth uncertainty edged down to 4.19% from 4.27% in May.

The survey reflects ongoing concerns among businesses about future demand and economic conditions, though the shift in employment uncertainty suggests mixed sentiment.
