Fertitta Entertainment buys Caesars for $5.7 billion, $31 per share
Fertitta Entertainment has entered into an agreement to buy Caesars Entertainment for approximately $5.7 billion, including $11.9 billion in debt.
The acquisition will be financed through a combination of equity, assumed debt, and newly committed debt financing.
Caesars’ board of directors has approved the sale and recommended that shareholders approve the merger, which includes a ‘go-shop’ period through July 11.
