The currency pair fell to a session low after failing to break the 100-day moving average, shifting momentum to sellers.
EURUSD retreated to near 1.1500 in early trading, reversing gains after peaking at 1.15581 just below its 100-day moving average at 1.15677. Sellers took over as buyers lost momentum, pushing the pair below key support levels.
Earlier, the pair found temporary support at the 38.2% retracement level of 1.1524 but failed to hold above 1.15356, the prior session’s high. A break below the 1.1500 swing area could target the 100-hour moving average at 1.14715, aligning with mid-June resistance.
Buyers must reclaim 1.1524 to regain short-term control, while a sustained drop below 1.1500 would strengthen the bearish bias.
