EU imposes €10,000 cash payment cap
The EU’s new anti-money laundering regulation will apply from July 2027.
It introduces a bloc-wide €10,000 cap on cash payments for goods and services.
The framework also expands AML coverage to high-risk sectors and strengthens beneficial ownership transparency.
