Eole Inc. invests JPY 10.08 million in HYPE tokens, marking the first such purchase by a Japanese public company.
Japan-listed eole Inc. (TSE Growth: 2334) purchased 1,078.2547 HYPE tokens for JPY 10.08 million ($61,600) at an average price of JPY 9,352.78 ($57.10) per token. The transaction, completed on July 28, positions eole as the first publicly traded company in Japan to hold HYPE.
The company plans to expand its investment to JPY 100 million ($610,500) by the end of August. HYPE will be held as a strategic digital asset under eole’s “Neo Crypto Bank” initiative, supporting its on-chain finance and Web3 operations.
