Dycom Industries reports a $12 billion backlog driven by long-haul fiber and data center projects, signaling multi-year growth potential.

Dycom Industries (NYSE:DY) said its backlog reached nearly $12 billion, supported by sustained demand for fiber networks and data center projects. CEO Dan Peyovich cited expanding long-haul and middle-mile opportunities as key drivers, with activity expected to accelerate through 2028.

The company highlighted data center work, particularly in its Power Solutions business, as a major growth area. Dycom also plans to pursue selective acquisitions while maintaining pricing discipline and leverage control.

Management emphasized the backlog’s durability, attributing it to overlapping demand cycles and a workforce of over 20,000 employees. The outlook suggests prolonged growth rather than a short-term uptick.
