Taiwan Semiconductor remains a top holding for the investor despite two consecutive quarters of position reductions.
Billionaire investor Stanley Druckenmiller reduced his stake in Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM) by 8.8% last quarter, following a larger cut the prior quarter. The move comes as TSM shares have risen over 25% since the start of 2026, potentially prompting profit-taking.
Wall Street analysts remain bullish on the chipmaker, with six of seven covering the stock rating it a “buy.” The average 12-month price target stands at $516.67, implying 28% upside from current levels. Analysts’ views vary, however, with targets reflecting differing outlooks on semiconductor demand and valuation.
TSM remains Druckenmiller’s third-largest holding, suggesting continued conviction despite the trims. His investment strategy emphasizes high-conviction bets while maintaining flexibility to adjust positions.
