Billionaire investor Stanley Druckenmiller reduced his Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM) holdings by 47,805 shares in Q1 2026 but retained a $167 million stake, making it his third-largest position. The move follows TSMC’s robust Q2 performance, with revenue rising 34% year-over-year and 12% sequentially.

TSMC’s high-performance computing segment, driven by AI accelerator demand, now accounts for 66% of total revenue. Management forecasts Q3 revenue of $45 billion, a 12% sequential increase, with full-year growth expected to exceed 40% in USD terms.

Nvidia and AMD’s strong outlook further supports TSMC’s momentum, as both firms rely on the chipmaker for advanced semiconductor production. Druckenmiller’s continued bet highlights confidence in AI-driven growth.
