Descartes Systems Group (DSGX) has acquired Tai Software for approximately $100M in cash. The deal expands Descartes’ transportation management and logistics capabilities by integrating Tai’s AI-powered freight brokerage platform.
Tai Software, based in California, provides software that helps freight brokers manage shipments across truckload, less-than-truckload, drayage, and cross-border operations. The platform covers the full shipment lifecycle, enhancing operational efficiency for logistics providers.
The acquisition was funded entirely using cash on hand, with no additional financing required.
