Dell posted $43.84 billion in revenue, crushing estimates, as AI server sales jumped 757% to $16.1 billion.
Dell reported its strongest revenue growth since returning to the public market in 2018, with sales surging 88% year-over-year to $43.84 billion. Adjusted earnings per share reached $4.86, well above the $2.94 estimate, driven by a 757% increase in AI server revenue to $16.1 billion.
The company’s previous record growth was 39% in the January quarter. For the full year, Dell now expects AI revenue of $60 billion, up from a $50 billion projection in February, reflecting 144% growth. The expansion is attributed to demand for servers equipped with Nvidia GPUs.
Dell’s stock rose in extended trading, extending its year-to-date gain to over 150%, outpacing the S&P 500’s 10% advance. The Pentagon also awarded Dell a $9.7 billion five-year contract this week.
