Dell Technologies became the first company to ship rack-scale AI systems built on NVIDIA’s Vera Rubin platform, delivering PowerRack systems to CoreWeave on June 1, 2026. The integrated systems combine compute, networking, storage, power, and cooling, reducing deployment time to under 6.5 hours and cutting cost per token by up to 10 times compared to Grace Blackwell NVL72.
In fiscal Q1 2027, Dell’s revenue surged 88% year-over-year to a record $43.8 billion, with AI-optimized server revenue jumping 757% to $16.1 billion. The growth reflects a shift from individual GPU boxes to scalable, production-ready AI infrastructure.
The company’s PowerEdge XE9812 servers, based on NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72, are designed for large-scale agentic AI inferencing, reinforcing Dell’s position in the AI infrastructure market.
