A one-hour delay in responding to recruiters cuts hiring chances by nearly half
A recent study found that responding to a recruiter’s message after a one-hour delay can significantly reduce the chances of getting hired.
The study analyzed roughly 11.7 million transactions on Fiverr, an online marketplace for freelancers.
It found that a wait of five to 10 minutes can also sharply cut a freelancer’s chances, regardless of the job or contract size.
