DeFi hacks lead to $14 billion outflows
DeFi bridges are being targeted by hackers, resulting in significant losses. The $285 million Drift Protocol exploit and $290 million KelpDAO breach are recent examples.
Total value locked across DeFi fell to around $86 billion from just under $100 billion in two days following the KelpDAO hack.
DeFi pools lost around $14 billion following the attack, with outflows coming from pools with no direct exposure to compromised assets.
