German dairy group Ehrmann is working alongside local beauty and wellness business Glow25 to launch coffees containing collagen.
The RTD Glow to Go Coffees include 15g of bovine collagen hydrolysate per 250ml bottle
They will be available at major German grocers Rewe and Edeka, as well as drug stores Budni and Müller, at an RRP of €2.99 ($3.42). The products, which come in caramel and caffé latte flavours, will also be sold online through Amazon and Glow25’s website. In a joint statement, the companies said the tie-up brings together Glow25’s “experience in building a collagen category and a strong community with Ehrmann’s product development expertise, production know-how and broad distribution in the food retail sector”.
The tie-up is set “for several years” and the two companies are working on other goods to expand the range, such as more RTD formats and “other complementary products”. Ehrmann, one of Germany’s largest dairy groups, produces yogurts, desserts, milk-based drinks and high-protein products. It also makes and develops functional beverages and specialty foods through subsidiaries like Saliter.
