U.S. spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs reported a $23.3 billion increase in assets under management last week, but just $2.6 billion stemmed from new investor inflows. The remainder reflected rising cryptocurrency prices, with Bitcoin and Ethereum climbing 24% and 30%, respectively.

Bitcoin ETFs added $1.92 billion in net inflows, while Ethereum funds took in $697.2 million—the strongest week for both since October 2025. Assets in Bitcoin ETFs rose 25.4% to $96.1 billion, and Ethereum ETFs jumped 35.9% to $14.3 billion, driven largely by price movements rather than fresh capital.

Bitcoin briefly topped $79,000 last week, its highest level since 2023, while Ethereum surged past $2,500. The rally underscored how ETF asset growth can outpace actual demand during market upswings.
