A crypto-backed political action committee, Fairshake, claimed victory after six of its endorsed congressional candidates won primary races on Tuesday. The group, funded by Coinbase, Andreessen Horowitz, and Ripple, spent over $20 million supporting the campaigns, primarily targeting Republican contenders.

All five GOP winners had also received endorsements from former President Donald Trump, raising questions about whether crypto funding or Trump’s influence was the decisive factor. Fairshake’s ads in these races highlighted Trump’s endorsements but did not mention crypto.

The results underscored Trump’s continued dominance within the GOP, even as his broader approval ratings decline. In Kentucky, Trump’s endorsed challenger defeated a sitting Republican lawmaker who had clashed with the former president.
