Cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike reports $1.47B revenue, beats estimates, and lifts outlook as AI-driven security demand accelerates.
CrowdStrike shares jumped over 11% in extended trading after reporting fiscal second-quarter revenue of $1.47 billion, surpassing the $1.44 billion estimate. Adjusted earnings per share reached 31 cents, above the 29-cent consensus.
Revenue climbed 26% year-over-year from $1.17 billion, driven by record net new annual recurring revenue of $333 million. Annual recurring revenue rose 25% to $5.84 billion. Net income swung to $5.3 million, or 1 cent per share, from a $70.2 million loss a year ago.
The company raised its full-year revenue outlook to $5.99 billion-$6.01 billion, above the $5.93 billion estimate, and adjusted EPS guidance to $1.25-$1.26, topping the $1.23 forecast. CEO George Kurtz attributed growth to AI adoption increasing demand for security tools.
