Atlassian Corporation (NASDAQ:TEAM) faces scrutiny after a laid-off engineer posted a YouTube video detailing the company’s product mechanics, prompting concerns over proprietary information exposure. The stock has fallen 60% over the past year and 46% year-to-date, reflecting broader market skepticism about its AI strategy and competitive positioning.

Oppenheimer recently raised its price target for TEAM to $110 from $100, maintaining an Outperform rating, citing optimism about the firm’s AI initiatives. However, Parnassus Mid Cap Fund exited its position in Q4 2025, citing worries that AI automation could disrupt software engineering tools like Atlassian’s.

Jim Cramer highlighted the YouTube incident as a sign of deeper challenges, suggesting the video could reduce demand for Atlassian’s collaboration software by revealing its underlying processes.
