Costco Wholesale (NASDAQ: COST) posted a 11.6% year-over-year sales increase for its fiscal third quarter, with comparable sales rising 9.8%. Earnings per share climbed to $4.93 from $4.28 in the same period last year, reflecting strong consumer demand amid inflation.

Membership growth remained robust, with a 4.1% increase and renewal rates holding steady at 92.2% in North America and 89.7% worldwide. The company also noted a rise in younger members, driven by online registration, supporting long-term growth.
