Copper One Resources has initiated diamond drilling at its Majuba Hill copper-silver-gold project in Nevada, using an AI-designed target for the first time. The 2,500ft (762m) hole is part of a 10,000ft drill program aimed at expanding known mineral zones and validating geological models.
The AI platform, developed with Exploration Technologies, integrates historical drilling data, geophysics, and mapping to prioritize subsurface targets. The campaign follows technical planning and site preparation, with results expected to support a potential maiden mineral resource estimate.
Drilling objectives include testing AI-generated targets, assessing step-out mineralization, and improving geological continuity in the region. The company aims to enhance understanding of copper, silver, and gold zones at the site.
