The exchange now offers US equities, options, tokenized assets, perpetual futures, and an SEC-registered AI advisor.
Coinbase launched a broad set of new products Tuesday, positioning itself as an all-in-one trading platform. The suite includes US stocks, ETFs, and indexes alongside crypto, plus options, tokenized stocks, and perpetual futures tied to thematic baskets like AI and defense.
The move follows a year of declining crypto volumes and intensifying competition. BTC traded at $64.8k ahead of the FOMC meeting, down 2-3% on the day, while MicroStrategy’s STRC fell to $91.80, its lowest level of 2024.
New offerings also include an SEC-registered AI advisor, automated trading agents, and consumer products like a USDC-backed credit card and loans against staked Solana.
