Canadian Natural Resources posted Q2 non-GAAP earnings per share of C$2.19, matching market expectations. The company also raised its 2026 production outlook following record output of 1.677 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (BOE/d).
Production surged 18% year-over-year, or 256,000 BOE/d, from Q2 2025 levels. The increase reflects strong operational performance and higher upstream activity.
Shares showed limited movement in after-hours trading as investors digested the updated guidance and production figures.
