Clean Energy Fuels announced it has been awarded two contracts to design and install liquefied natural gas fueling systems in Puerto Rico. The projects, signed with P.R. Energy Partners and a global healthcare company, will support gas-to-power applications.
The contracts mark a expansion into Puerto Rico’s energy infrastructure, following prior investments in LNG adoption for industrial and commercial use. No financial terms were disclosed, but the deals signal growing demand for cleaner fuel alternatives in the region.
Shares of CLNE climbed 1.6% in pre-market trading on the news.
