Embassy Developments awards Leighton Asia a $90m deal to build a 300m residential tower in Mumbai’s Worli district.
Leighton Asia, a CIMIC Group subsidiary, has won a $90m contract from Embassy Developments to construct a 300m-high residential tower in Mumbai. The project, Embassy Citadel, marks the developer’s entry into Mumbai’s luxury housing market and includes 316 residences and premium amenities.
The development spans 192,000m² of built-up area, with seven floors dedicated to amenities and a Sky Lounge on the 79th floor. Embassy Developments estimates the project’s gross development value at approximately Rs88bn ($1.06bn). Leighton Asia will handle all civil and structural works.
Embassy Developments cited Leighton Asia’s expertise in high-rise construction as a key factor in the partnership. The project aims to set new standards for luxury living in Mumbai, emphasizing engineering and safety.
