India’s Ministry of Road Transport awards four EPC road projects worth Rs21.5bn to a Ceigall-Sushee Infra joint venture.
A joint venture between Ceigall India Limited (CIL) and Sushee Infra Mining Limited (SIML) secured four road construction contracts valued at Rs21.5bn ($224.4m) from India’s Ministry of Road Transport & Highways. The projects focus on key sections of National Highway 913 in Arunachal Pradesh, part of the strategic Frontier Highway.
The contracts include construction of the Huri–Taliha section (0km to 113.25km) and the Sarli–Huri segment (0km to 78.38km), with completion timelines ranging from 36 to 48 months. Each project also includes a five-year maintenance period post-construction. CIL holds a 74% stake in the JV, while SIML owns the remaining 26%.
The awards align with India’s push to develop infrastructure in its northeastern region, enhancing connectivity and strategic transport routes. No immediate market reaction was reported.
