Standard Chartered initiated coverage of Chainlink with a $200 price target for 2030, up from around $8 currently. The bank projects tokenized assets on-chain will reach $4 trillion by 2028, a 12-fold increase from $340 billion today, while DeFi assets could grow 37-fold to $2.7 trillion by 2030.

The bank’s staged targets for LINK include $13 by year-end, followed by $41, $82, and $133 before hitting $200. Bitcoin and Ethereum are forecast at $500,000 and $40,000, respectively, by 2030. Chainlink’s role in data delivery and cross-chain asset movement underpins the bullish outlook, with fees expected to rise 25 times.

Chainlink currently secures over $110 billion in value, dominating 70% of oracle-dependent DeFi globally and more than 80% on Ethereum. LINK traded at $8.25 Monday, down 0.8% on the day.
