Veteran investor Cathie Wood expressed strong optimism about SpaceX’s planned initial public offering, valuing the company at $75 billion. She described investor appetite as “voracious” despite expected volatility, citing Elon Musk’s vertically integrated business model as a key advantage.
Wood highlighted SpaceX’s long-term growth potential, noting that technologies developed over the past two decades are now maturing. She compared Tesla’s cost structure favorably to competitors like Alphabet’s Waymo, predicting Tesla’s transportation costs will collapse by 2030 due to vertical integration.
ARK Invest, which actively trades Tesla shares, has previously emphasized Musk’s strategy of convergence across his companies. SpaceX’s IPO plans follow Tesla’s recent earnings report, where its Bitcoin holdings remained unchanged at 11,509 coins.
