CVNA expands its used-car network with a 60-acre Florida IRC, boosting same-day delivery capacity for Gulf Coast customers.
Carvana (CVNA) will convert its ADESA Sarasota wholesale auction site into an Inspection and Reconditioning Center (IRC), adding reconditioning capacity to its national network. The 60-acre facility, with 3,000 parking spaces, will enable same-day vehicle delivery to Florida Gulf Coast customers once operational.
The expansion follows Carvana’s existing IRC network, which processes used cars for sale. The company’s CARLI software will manage the transition, maintaining the site’s wholesale auction operations alongside the new IRC. The project is expected to create approximately 100 jobs in inspection, reconditioning, and fulfillment, with hiring already underway.
Carvana highlighted the move as a strengthening of its customer offering, though no immediate market reaction was disclosed.
