Corporación América Airports reports 19% revenue growth, outpacing 7% passenger traffic increase, driven by high-value travel and commercial monetization.
Corporación América Airports (CAAP) posted a 19% revenue increase in Q1 2026, nearly triple the 7% rise in passenger traffic. The growth was fueled by a 14% surge in high-value international travel and improved commercial revenue strategies, including VIP lounges and duty-free services.
Commercial revenue per passenger rose 11% to $22.70, while adjusted EBITDA in Brazil jumped 44% due to sector stabilization. Argentina’s operations mitigated inflationary pressures, keeping cost growth below revenue despite inflation exceeding peso depreciation by 40 percentage points.
Management highlighted disciplined cost control and operating leverage, particularly in Argentina and Armenia, as key profitability drivers. The company is evaluating a formal dividend policy, supported by a net leverage ratio of 0.5x and consistent cash flow.
