Grand View Research forecasts a 4.9% CAGR for the global nuclear energy sector through 2033, driven by decarbonization and AI demand.

BWX Technologies (NYSE: BWXT) is positioned as a key player in the resurging nuclear energy market, which is projected to grow at a 4.9% compound annual growth rate from 2026 to 2033. The recovery follows a decade-long slump after the 2011 Fukushima disaster, with renewed interest fueled by decarbonization efforts and rising power demands from AI and data centers.

BWXT, spun off from Babcock & Wilcox in 2015, is North America’s sole large-scale producer of specialized nuclear components, fuel systems, and naval reactor systems. The company holds licenses for high-assay enriched uranium (HALEU) and tri-structural isotropic (TRISO) fuel, making it a critical supplier for both commercial and defense applications.

The stock is highlighted as a stable investment amid the sector’s expansion, with its dominance in irreplaceable nuclear infrastructure reinforcing its market leadership. Analysts cite its diversification and regulatory expertise as key advantages in the evolving energy landscape.
