The company will issue two series of green bonds totaling C$750M with maturities in 2031 and 2036.
Brookfield Renewable (BEPC) has priced a C$750M green bond offering split into two series. The first tranche, C$400M of Series 21 notes due 2036, carries a 4.949% coupon. The second, C$350M of Series 22 notes due 2031, offers a 4.256% rate.
The issuance follows growing demand for sustainable debt instruments, aligning with Brookfield’s renewable energy expansion strategy. No prior green bond issuance of this size was reported for the company in recent years.
Proceeds will fund eligible green projects, including wind, solar, and hydroelectric developments.
