Broadcom Inc. (NASDAQ:AVGO) announced a $35 billion artificial intelligence infrastructure platform in collaboration with Apollo Global Management and Blackstone’s credit and insurance units. The AI XPV Platform aims to deliver over 20 gigawatts of compute capacity by 2028, leveraging Broadcom’s chips and networking solutions.

The initiative targets AI-focused companies, with an initial $35 billion tranche supporting over 1 gigawatt of compute infrastructure expansion. The platform seeks to reduce costs and power requirements for AI model training and inference, while establishing a framework for future XPU-based deployments.

Apollo and Blackstone’s involvement highlights private equity’s growing role in financing digital infrastructure. Broadcom’s hardware and software divisions will underpin the project, reinforcing its position in AI-driven computing.
