Brent crude prices surge 3% after Iranian attack
Brent crude prices rose to above $86 per barrel after an Iranian attack on two UAE tankers.
The attack in the Strait of Hormuz led to a 3% increase in Brent crude prices, which were trading at $86.06 a barrel.
The US benchmark, WTI Crude, also surged by 3.1% to top $80 per barrel for the first time in a month.
