ADNOC partners with European energy majors to develop Abu Dhabi’s Bab Gas Cap, targeting 1.5 billion cubic feet per day output.
ADNOC has finalized agreements with BP and TotalEnergies, granting each a 10% stake in the Bab Gas Cap project in Abu Dhabi. The field is projected to produce up to 1.5 billion cubic feet per day of gas, bolstering regional supply.
The deal follows prior consortium agreements and aligns with Abu Dhabi’s strategy to expand gas production capacity. No prior output figures or consensus estimates for the project were disclosed.
Neither company commented on immediate market reactions or financial terms of the concessions.
