Booking Holdings reported second-quarter adjusted earnings per share of $2.54, topping the $2.45 estimate, while revenue reached $7.4 billion, above the $7.189 billion forecast. The results reflect sustained demand for travel despite macroeconomic uncertainty, with room nights rising 5% year-over-year and gross bookings up 9% in dollar terms.

The company’s outlook remains positive, projecting room nights to grow 3-5% and gross bookings 4-6% in the upcoming quarter. Full-year gross bookings are expected to rise in the high single digits. Management cited resilient travel trends but noted risks from geopolitical tensions and higher flight costs.

Shares rose 5% in after-hours trading following the release, signaling investor confidence in the company’s performance and the broader travel sector.
