Cassels Brock & Blackwell was ranked second for deal value, having advised on transactions totalling $13.1bn. Fasken Martineau DuMoulin followed with $12.1bn, while McCarthy Tetrault handled $12bn and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison was credited with $11.4bn. Meanwhile, in terms of volume, Cassels Brock & Blackwell led by handling 13 deals.

McCarthy Tetrault ranked second in volume with 13 deals. Blake Cassels & Graydon ranked third with 12 deals, Fasken Martineau DuMoulin followed with 11 and A&O Shearman managed six deals. GlobalData lead analyst Aurojyoti Bose said: “Cassels Brock & Blackwell saw a 44.4% increase in the total number of deals advised by it in H1 2026 compared to H1 2025.
