Blackstone Inc. posted a 26% jump in second-quarter distributable earnings to nearly $2 billion, or $1.52 per share, fueled by $70 billion in inflows. Fee-related earnings rose 22% to $1.8 billion, while net realizations climbed 27% to over $400 million.
The firm’s assets under management grew 11% to $1.35 trillion, supported by strong returns in private credit (6.8%) and private equity, including 28.6% gains in infrastructure. Year-to-date distributable earnings surged 26% to $3.7 billion.
CEO Stephen Schwarzman attributed the performance to the firm’s strategy of capitalizing on the AI megatrend, reinforcing its position in alternative investments.
