Black Hills Corp posted a Q2 non-GAAP EPS of $1.79, missing expectations by $0.05, while revenue reached $780.7M, falling short by $123.19M. The results reflect weaker-than-anticipated performance in both earnings and sales.

Analysts had projected stronger figures, with consensus estimates closer to $1.84 for EPS and $903.89M for revenue. The prior-year quarter saw higher revenue of $820.3M, though EPS was slightly lower at $1.75.

Shares showed limited movement in after-hours trading as investors digested the miss.
