BitMine Immersion Technologies acquired 111,942 ETH for $237 million last week, its largest Ethereum purchase of 2026. The move lifts its total ETH holdings to 5.39 million, valued at approximately $11.4 billion at current prices near $2,117 per token.
The firm now controls 4.4% of the circulating ETH supply, nearing its 5% target. BitMine had previously signaled a slower acquisition pace but capitalized on ETH trading below $2,200, citing a favorable entry point. The company expects crypto and Ethereum to benefit from Wall Street tokenization and AI-driven demand.
Shares of BMNR rose over 4% in early Tuesday trading following the announcement.
