Net BTC flows into Binance jump over fivefold, fueling a $41 billion drop in crypto market cap and $935 million in liquidations.
Bitcoin fell below $75,000 as net inflows to Binance surged 528% to 1,496 BTC over the past week, signaling rising selling pressure. Futures funding rates on the exchange also spiked 781% above their three-month average, exacerbating the decline.
The correction triggered $935 million in crypto liquidations Wednesday, while the total market cap dropped by $41 billion. Outflows from wallets holding 100-10,000 BTC reached 648,000 BTC, the highest since early February, though still below the 1 million BTC exits seen then.
Long-term holders now control 84.3% of Bitcoin’s supply, a level last seen when BTC traded between $105,000 and $126,000 in Q3 2025. Their reluctance to sell aggressively may limit further downside below $75,000.
