Bitcoin bounces back from $58,000 level
Bitcoin rebounded from its weakest level since September, touching $58,000 before rising to $59,770.
The largest cryptocurrency was recently trading near $59,700, having fallen as low as $58,100.
Ether failed to mirror bitcoin’s bounce, dropping a further 1% and extending its string of declines to three straight days, recently holding around $1,550.
U.S. equities also started Friday indicating weakness, with Nasdaq 100 and S&P 500 futures down by 1% and 0.4%, respectively.
