Bitcoin Nears $63,604 as ETF Inflows Offset BTC Sales, Wallet Exploit

Spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $170.1M net inflows, countering Strategy’s BTC sales and security concerns to lift prices.

Bitcoin rose 1.63% to approach $63,604, shrugging off Strategy’s sale of 1,638 BTC and an ongoing Coldcard wallet exploit. Ethereum edged up 0.34% to $1,855, while the total crypto market cap held at $2.25 trillion.

BlackRock’s IBIT led spot Bitcoin ETFs with $170.1M in net inflows, offsetting recent selling pressure. The Fear & Greed Index remained at 25, signaling extreme fear despite the price recovery. Altcoins showed mixed performance, with small-cap tokens like TENDIES and Cash Cat posting gains of over 60%.

Strategy’s BTC sales funded stock repurchases and dividends, while recent funding rounds included a $10M seed for V12 led by Electric Capital.
