Bitcoin remained above $79,600 on Tuesday, supported by a seventh straight day of inflows into US spot Bitcoin ETFs. The cryptocurrency traded at $79,687, up 3.07% for the session, while Ethereum rose 0.99% to $2,480.

The total crypto market capitalization reached $2.79 trillion, with Bitcoin dominance at 57.3%. The Fear & Greed Index stood at 74, indicating greed. Altcoins showed mixed performance, with small-cap tokens like Jimothy The Raccoon and TAC posting gains of over 75%.

Market sentiment was bolstered by ongoing institutional interest, including a $14M funding round for Entropy led by Ribbit Capital and a $2B post-IPO round for Strategy.
